In The Hobbit, we see the relationship between Dwarves and Elves harsh due to selfish reasons of both races but it was not like that since the start, Thorn Oakenshield was a descendant of Durin the King of dwarves and in Rings of Power, the friendship of Durin and the Lord Elrond Is clear.
Elves have always prioritized their own race and people over anyone and such was the case in this. Remember in The Hobbit 2: Desolation of Smaug when Thorin Oakenshield gifted a vest to Bilbo baggins as a token of their friendship, it was made of Mithril, a jewel that was worth more than the countries. Mithril was found in mountain ruled by the dwarves and elves claimed that it was their jewel crafted by their ancestors and their survival depends upon it meanwhile dwarves also knew the worth of the jewel and wanted to use it for defense purposes.

Some things are yet to be revealed in the upcoming seasons but one thing is for sure, which is the relationship between Galadriel and Sauron. The battle of righteousness and Evil began somehow which no one could imagine. Such is the reason of the great enmity of Galadriel and Sauron. In the latter parts of series, Upon the arrival of Sauron, Galadriel has always helped the middle earth, but as evil is a strong force driven by rage and desire, a lot of humans, elves and dwarves sided with orcs to serve the dark sorcerer Sauron.
On another occasion the civilization of mankind was also shown in the series where mostly in the latter parts only dwarves, elves, orcs and hobbits were in lime light.

The ancestors of hobbits are harfoots, which unintentionally end up with an alien who came from the stars, and another force was hunting him for some reasons. Tolkien’s Middle earth has always been fascinating to imagine, and the movies and shows are worth watching even if it is true they cannot be compared with the books. The fans were dishearten and expecting that this sequel will be ruined and their exceptions will be shattered like any other sequel of a show but the directors and cast did justice to roles the show was better than I expected it to be. Initially it got a little hasty but it was the storyline developing, and after the 4th episode when things got expanded, It started getting interesting. It is Highly Recommended.`
